Drift Boat

Drift Boat

This “new school, drift raft” has the time tested design of a classic drift boat, with all the benefits of a whitewater raft.

This boat is lightweight and very maneuverable.  This is especially important for trips where water levels are extremely low and even the smallest canoes or kayaks have a difficult time navigating the shallow water.

Your river guide will man the oars and give casting instruction while you and your fishing partner launch lures from the casting platforms at the bow and stern of the boat.  This raft is extremely quiet which will allow you to sneak up on unsuspecting fish.  With 3 people on the NRS Drifter, it drafts just 2 inches!

Drift boat adventures are always scenic and exciting. Guests may be required to step out of the raft at some sections of the river where the water is too shallow to float through. Your guide may need to drag the boat through these shallow sections to make it through. Now that’s adventure!

We use the NRS Drift Boat on the Grand River, Nith River and Saugeen River. We may be open to using the NRS Drift Boat on some “other” locations upon request.

For groups larger than 2 people, we do have access to 2 other drift rafts on the Grand River and can accommodate groups up to 6 people. This is thanks to our partnership with Grand River Rafting. Please inquire!
